Description of Services

Base-sequoia provides language learning instruction through various formats including individual sessions, group classes, remote learning, intensive programs, professional communication training, and exam preparation. Services are delivered by qualified instructors according to program specifications.

Enrollment and Registration

To enroll in our programs, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Payment Terms

Payment for services is due according to the following terms:

  • Individual sessions and group classes are billed per session or hour as specified
  • Intensive programs require full payment before the program start date
  • Payment can be made via accepted methods as communicated during enrollment
  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include applicable taxes
  • Prices are subject to change with notice to enrolled students

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Our cancellation and refund policies are as follows:

  • Individual sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable
  • Group class fees are non-refundable once the session has commenced
  • Intensive program cancellations more than 14 days before start date receive a full refund minus administrative fee
  • Cancellations within 14 days of start date are non-refundable
  • We reserve the right to cancel programs due to insufficient enrollment with full refund

Student Responsibilities

As a student, you agree to:

  • Attend scheduled sessions or notify us of absences in advance
  • Complete assigned homework and practice activities
  • Treat instructors and fellow students with respect
  • Provide feedback on your learning experience
  • Not record sessions without explicit permission
  • Not share proprietary materials outside of your personal use

Intellectual Property

All content provided through our services, including course materials, lesson plans, recordings, and instructional resources, remains the intellectual property of Base-sequoia. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use these materials solely for your personal educational purposes.

Use of Website

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Scrape, copy, or duplicate website content without permission
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive to provide high-quality instruction, we do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or proficiency levels within particular timeframes. Individual results vary based on effort, prior experience, and natural aptitude.

Limitation of Liability

Base-sequoia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
